Requirements: Education requirements - CAD Engineer – 5 years’ relevant experience Technical Degree in Engineering/ Architecture or Construction Management Secret Security clearance (US citizenship required) BACKGROUND. **MEMBERS ONLY**SIGN UP NOW***. is seeking qualifies candidates to support the Director, Facilities Department, Marine Corps Base Hawaii on-site contract consultants to provide technical and advisory support to the Facilities Department staff, Defense Policy Review Initiative (DPRI) Planning Group located at Marine Corps Base Hawaii. The Marine Corps Base Hawaii DPRI is responsible for the management and oversight of present and future Marine Corps structures planned for Marine Corps Base Hawaii, including support for tenant commands and transient forces. MCB Hawaii DPRI task is to provide technical and advisory support services in the following areas: Facilities Requirements Planning and Assessments; Logistics, Technical, and GIS Support Services; and Program Management and Operations Execution. GIS Management Office. Manage and develop CAD drawings, as-built drawing, utility maintenance drawings, and maps. Specialized Skills & Knowledge - Minimum 5 years working experience developing CAD designs and mapping -Working knowledge of and skill related to the development of professional level correspondence and the management of programs. -Working knowledge of Department of Defense and Marine Corps policies and regulations related to Facilities planning and engineering projects of Special and MILCON scope. -Must have excellent communication skills, both written and oral, as well as customer service skills due to daily interaction with various levels of rank, authority, positions, both military and civilians. The ideal candidate will possess the following: Prior experience in GIS and Developing CAD designs and Mapping for DOD, ideally USMC.
