As a product engineer on the team, you will work with a diverse cross-functional global team in an innovative and collaborative environment to drive new features and functionality from conception to release. You will be a key member of the development team, active in gathering user requirements, building and testing features, and helping our customers be successful by writing product documentations and blogs.
Responsibilities

Gather user requirements; synthesize and translate into new feature and workflow improvements
Collaborate with product engineers, product developers, and product management as needed across regions, product areas, and functions
Lead testing activities and engagements across cross-functional teams to shape design and product direction
Support customers by troubleshooting and triaging reported issues
Provide goal-oriented direction in the face of ambiguity

Requirements

1 years of experience with ArcGIS software and/or other GIS and mapping products
Passion for creating products to solve customer problems
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
A self-driven and quality focused mindset
Excellent teamwork and communication skills, including documentation and testing
Bachelor\u2019s or master\u2019s in GIS, computer science, or a related field, depending on position level

Recommended Qualifications

Experience with agile software development methodologies
Proven ability to define, manage, and deliver quality geospatial solutions
Familiarity with manual and automated testing practices for functional, regression and performance
Understanding of web technology (REST, JSON, etc.)
Familiarity with GitHub for project and issue creation and tracking
