In this role, you will help us design, build, certify, and deliver the next generation of ArcGIS Enterprise built on micro-services architecture. If you are passionate about geospatial technologies, have the ability to develop deep understanding of the product and customer needs, and can communicate effectively via writing and presentations, this is the place to be!
Responsibilities
Translate customer needs into technical requirements for future ArcGIS Enterprise software releases
Collaborate with product engineers and development engineers on software project teams to build new ArcGIS Enterprise software releases
Assist with implementation design for server backend and/or UI development
Develop and implement test plans and test cases, write test code, and verify code changes and bug fixes
Review and analyze automated test results, report status on software quality and stability, and certify software quality
Troubleshoot and triage customer issues
Share workflows in help topics, blog articles, presentations, tutorials, and samples
Requirements
1 years of industry experience in software testing or software development
1 years of experience with ArcGIS Enterprise, ArcGIS Online, or other geospatial technology
Fundamental understanding of web services including REST and SOAP
Excellent problem solving and analytical skills
Proven ability to build and deliver quality software in a team environment
Effective time management and organizational skills
1 year working with Python, Java, or other scripting languages
Experience with test frameworks such as Selenium, JUnit, or Ready API
Experience translating customer needs into technical requirements for the team
Bachelor's or master's in GIS, geography, engineering, computer science, math, or related field, depending on position level
Recommended Qualifications
1 years of experience developing and implementing test plans and test automation for web services
Familiarity with HTTP monitoring and debugging tools (Fiddler)
Experience with test automation and its value in ensuring quality and timely delivery of software
Knowledge of Linux, Docker, and Kubernetes
