**MEMBERS ONLY**SIGN UP NOW***. Inc. a 100% employee-owned, multi office environmental consulting firm headquartered in Seattle, WA has an exciting opportunity for a creative and highly motivated associate level Environmental Geologist or Hydrogeologist.



This position will be involved in projects ranging from project and technical task management; and be a technical resource to project managers and clients.



Primary Duties and Responsibilities:



  • Manage a variety of environmental investigation and remediation tasks and projects from small to complex


  • Prepare proposals, cost estimates, and schedules


  • Develop work plans for site investigation and remediation activities and directs field staff


  • Prepare regulatory reports including remedial investigations, feasibility studies, cleanup action reports, sample and analysis plans, quality control/assurance plans, and health and safety plans


  • Evaluate remediation technologies and present technical recommendations.


  • Interfaces with clients and regulators


Minimum Qualifications:



· Bachelor’s degree in Geology or Hydrogeology



· Registration as a Licensed Geologist or Hydrogeologist



· 7 to 10 years of consulting experience



· Understanding of environmental regulations including state and federal (e.g.: MTCA, CERCLA, and RCRA)



· Proficient with Microsoft Office applications



· Excellent technical writing and verbal communication skills



· OSHA HAZWOPER certification or the ability to obtain in one month



· Valid driver’s license and clean driving record



Preferred Qualifications:



· Master of Science degree in Geology or Hydrogeology a plus, not required



· Experience with remediation well and network design, fate and transport analysis, and/or vapor intrusion assessments.



· Experience with aquifer testing and analysis



· Experience with groundwater infiltration studies and construction dewatering



· Understanding of monitored natural attenuation



· 1-2 years of experience with hydrogeological modeling
