OverviewnIn this position, you will implement advanced ArcGIS deployments, analyze and solve technical problems, and optimize performance and organization. The Professional Services organization is comprised of nearly 1,000 talented business and technical professionals who strive every day to help our users be successful.nResponsibilitiesnn Deploy and configure ArcGIS in a wide variety of environments across operation systems, cloud providers, security architectures, customer types and organizations, to meet the customer`s service level agreementn Plan and execute the migration of content from one ArcGIS deployment to another, encompassing different architectures, deployment strategies and software componentsn Troubleshoot advanced ArcGIS deployments, providing guidance for platform components such as storage, networking and securityn Help define best practices for the deployment and optimization of enterprise systems n Work closely with customers and partners to identify, design, and certify key GIS workflows for the ArcGIS platformn Collaborate internally to help customer organizations align their technical objectives and business goals with Esri`s technology platformnnRequirementsnn 12 years of professional experience in a similar position supporting similar responsibilitiesn Experience designing, implementing and/or administrating enterprise ArcGIS or other comparable IT systems (desktop, server, and online)n Experience in guiding customers at a strategic leveln Broad system administration experience on Windows and/or Linuxn Working knowledge of at least one scripting or programming language (such as Python, PowerShell, Javascript, or C#)n Familiarity with network concepts and topics (such as domains, directories, DNS, HTTPS, firewalls, proxies, or load-balancing)n Experience with at least one RDBMS, including SQL query writing (such as SQL Server, Oracle, or PostgreSQL)n Applicants selected will be subjected to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. This could include a Top Secret Clearance (TS), a Top Secret Clearance Compartmented Information Clearance (TS/SCI), a TS/SCI with Counterintelligence Scope (CI) and/or a Full Scope/Lifestylen Bachelor`s Degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Geographic Information Systems (GIS) or STEM related field, depending on position levelnnRecommended Qualificationsnn One or more industry-standard IT certifications (such as Esri, CompTIA, Microsoft, or Amazon)n Experience with Esri software including ArcGIS Enterprise, ArcGIS Desktop, ArcGIS Online, Portal for ArcGIS and ArcGIS Runtime and their associated APIs or interfacesn Cloud-based system operations (SysOps)n Master`s Degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Geographic Information Systems (GIS) or STEM related fieldnnThe CompanynOur passion for improving quality of life through geography is at the heart of everything we do.
