Normal Work Schedule:
Monday - Friday 8:00 am - 4:30 pm
The Cultural Resource Graphics & GIS Analyst will be responsible for research and development of, or supervision of other employees, to develop geographic information systems (GIS) and data based on original and modified maps, diagrams, and charts; photographs; architectural measurements and drawings; and computer generated and other design services.
Additional Department Summary:
Responsible for coordination for technical reports, research products, publications, flyers, documents and exhibits. Individual involved with research model development and implementation for both cultural resource management projects and will initiate original research efforts. Individual will be required to travel to field sites to produce documentation and data.
Required Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree and a minimum of two (2) years demonstrable work experience in drafting/graphics design to include drafting maps; OR Master's degree and one (1) year demonstrable work experience in drafting/graphics design to include drafting maps.
Additional Required Department Minimum Qualifications:
Must have a valid U.S. driver's license. Must be 21 years or older and have an acceptable Motor Vehicle Report as determined by the insurance carrier.
Master's degree in geography, anthropology or closely related field and a minimum of two (2) years GIS development and/or experience to include mapping or surveying; Bachelor's degree in geography, anthropology or closely related field and a minimum of three (3) years GIS development and/or experience to include mapping or surveying; Demonstrable experience with GIS software packages including ArcMap, ArcPad, Autocad, Sketch-Up, Argisoft, etc. and demonstrable experience with Adobe software package to include Photoshop, Illustrator, etc. and/or Canvas graphics software package.
