MATCOR specializes in protecting the infrastructure of the oil and gas, electric utility, transportation and water industries. MATCOR is seeking a Pipeline Inspection Integrity Data Analyst. This individual must have great attention to detail, strong computer skills and a can-do attitude. Under direct supervision from project management, plans, organizes, and coordinates the development and implementation of Brand Energy's(Matcor) pipeline inspection data analysis and reporting per client specifications. In this role you will be performing (but not limited to) CIS data analysis through AI-PCS, graphical overlay GIS work using proprietary software and all other tasks requested under the direction of management to support clients both internal and external to streamline reporting processes and expedite workflow. KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: Creates map books and final reporting utilizing software such as ESRI,Expert GPS, ArcGIS, American Innovations PCS, AutoCad, Excel and the BlueSky framework. Works closely with clientele to identify GIS requirements, technical issues and data representation preferences; analyzes current processes and recommends best practice solutions. Analyzes data and implements it into various formats as requested by clientele. Generates maps and graphs for daily data reporting. Uses Pipeline Compliance System, Excel, and Access to organize and parse data for use by engineers and other analysts. Provides general purpose mapping services for other departments. Maintains, updates, and manages all data in archives per company specification. Proctor serve as a testing proctor for Operator Qualification testing. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Minimum 2-5 years' experience with ArcGIS Associates Degree in GIS or equivalent experience, Bachelors degree preferred Cathodic protection survey knowledge and experience is preferred. GIS concepts and analytical techniques, including computerized mapping and digital data conversion, manipulation and analysis of pipeline systems. Database administration and management principles, methods and techniques, including data integrity methods and practices. Knowledge of software tools and applications including but not limited to ArcGIS, AutoCAD suite, BlueSky Lightning, and applications of MS Office Suite. Hardware and software applications development methods, tools and utilities applicable to inspection practices and presentation generation. Manipulating and handling of data in large quantities efficiently. Ability to comprehend and master inspection terminology and practices to ensure accurate work flow. Must be detail oriented with effective organizational skills; excellent written and verbal communication skills required.
