GENERAL JOB SUMMARY:
Provide Environmental Systems Research Institute (ESRI) Geospatial Capability to Air Force Reserve (AFR) Command.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
: Install software updates and provide software administration. Create new presentation layers, queries, filters, services, scripting and programming.
Maintain and Administer a GeoBase Technical Infrastructure
; Provide technical policy and guidance to Command GeoBase technical staff and manage implementation of GeoBase capability across AFRC A6 responsibilities. Perform technical work in Geospatial sciences and related web-based programming and database management.
Develop and/or Implement ARC and AF Geospatial Data Standards
: Manage the maintenance of geospatial data residing at AFR and support the development and implementation of enterprise GeoBase architectures.
Maintain existing systems and environments IAW disciplined practices and sustain applications, databases and interfaces in compliance with applicable Air Force/DoD standards.
Collaborate as part of an integrated product team (IPT) on the modernization programming and maintenance of existing, planned and future Air Force Reserve Command Information Technology systems and related software.
Provide application services to support, maintain and operate systems or services as required
Maintain safe and clean working environment and comply with all applicable security and safety regulations.
The work environment characteristics are representative of those performing essential functions of the job in an information technology office environment. Must be able to sit for periods of time while engaged in work on computer related equipment (monitor/desktop/laptop/keyboard/telephone and potentially mobile devices). Standard work week but expected to work as the requirement dictates.
Experience and Skills:

Understanding of compatible technologies in use with IPT
(does not require specific skill, rather a general knowledge of technologies and interaction with Geospatial tools/performance)
; .Net, Angular, REACT, T-SQL, SSRS, SOA Web Services, C, Telerick Rad Controls, Kendo UI web Controls, Entity Framework, WCF, VB.Net, Web API, HTML 1-5, Bootstrap, Xamarin, Jquery, Native Cross Platform and Classic ASP.
Operating Systems in use: MS Windows 2012 and higher
Database Systems in use: MS SQL 2012 and higher
COTS in use: SharePoint 2013 (testing SP 2016), Visual Studio 2015, MS Team Foundation Server 2013
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
High School Graduate or Equivalent mandatory.
Four year degree in computer science, IT, software development or other similar field highly preferred but not required.
Experience in a Federal/Department of Defense (DoD) information technology environment preferred.
