May lead project team that includes business clients and other analysts. Work closely in coordinating with IT Project Team Lead.Develop documentation such as Scope, Project Plan, Requirements, Design Recommendations, Test Plans, and Implementation Plans to support system request.Utilize tracking tools effectively (SIRS, Help Desk Logs) to assist in the prioritization of work and resource allocation. Effectively communicates with team by scheduling and leading meetings, preparing meeting agendas, meeting minutes, and scheduled status reports. Continuous client interaction to understand business issues and future business needs. Continuous information technology relationship to understand how the business needs can be answered utilizing technology innovation. Works in an office environment. May be required to work nonstandard days and shifts. May travel to remote locations to resolve problems and support user needs. External Qualifications: Qualifications:Requires a bachelor's degree or equivalent, preferably in Geographic Information systems, computer science, mathematics or engineering and three years of experience in the use of computer systems such as GIS or SQL Developer and knowledge of Gas Utility business or equivalent training and\/or experience. Familiarity with structured systems development methodology, project management techniques. Must have a thorough knowledge of customer service activities, a general knowledge of data processing and an understanding of structured development methodology. Analytical abilities, ingenuity and excellent oral and written communication skills are required to identify, understand and translate user requirements into system applications. - ( Business System Analyst - II )Qualifications: Successful candidate should have a bachelor's degree in Geographic Information systems, Computer Science,\u00a0mathematics, engineering or relevant experience and equivalent training. Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel is highly desirable. Working knowledge of SAP and Business Warehouse is preferred. Ability to communicate (verbal and written) technical information in a clear and concise manner to both a technical and non-technical audience. Must have the ability to identify issues, analyze data, develop, recommend, and implement solutions. Must possess initiative, decision-making skills and problem-solving skills. A demonstrated ability to understand the business needs in order to effectively apply new technologies and complete complex systems projects. and knowledge of Gas Utility business or equivalent training and\/or experience. Familiarity with structured systems development methodology, project management techniques.
