Geospatial Analyst, Senior
Collect and validate features, including points, lines, and areas and complete product finishing. Extract features from imagery sources. Resolve feature discrepancies and conflicts. Work with large data sets, including manipulating and formatting data to meet specifications for database ingest. Analyze, validate, and enter data using manual and automated processes. Use previous comprehension of quality controls, quality management systems, and strategies to maintain the required level of work.
-Experience with digital cartography, image processing, computer technology, geographical information systems (GIS), geospatial production techniques, remote sensing, and photogrammetry
-Experience with ArcGIS, ArcSDE, ArcView, ArcIMS, or ArcTools
-Knowledge of airfield infrastructure, including taxiways, runways, navigational aids, ATC tower, and hangers
-Knowledge of feature collection, including points, lines, and areas and feature validation and finishing
-Knowledge of the Integrated Exploitation Capability (IEC) system, SocetSet, TerraExplorer/Builder, RemoteView, ERDAS IMAGINE, MRSID, an object-oriented programming or scripting language, including VB/VBA, and software used to analyze geospatial data, including Oracle
-Ability to work in, manipulate, and interact with Geospatial Database, SQL, stored procedures, and triggers
-HS diploma or GED and 10 years of experience with geospatial analysis, BA or BS degree and 6 years of experience with geospatial analysis, or MA or MS degree and 4 years of experience with geospatial analysis
-Experience with PostgreSQL/PostGIS and Sybase
-Experience with python and VBA scripting, POSTGIS Geodatabases, and debugging, rewriting, and aligning product finishing processes for current and future needs
-Experience with activities related to the administration of computerized databases, including maintenance, data and database replication, queries, programming, validation checks, quality control, and backup or recovery
-Knowledge of commercial imagery, products, processes, and sensors
