As part of our continued success, Landau Associates is seeking an entry-level hydrogeologist or geologist to join our Tacoma, Washington office.\u00a0
The successful candidate will initially be responsible for performing a wide range of environmental investigation, remediation, and water resources related tasks. This will include:
Implementation of site investigation and remediation field activities, such as:
groundwater, soil gas, stormwater, soil and sediment sample collection,
oversight of well installation,
planning, performance, and analysis of aquifer tests,
remediation system O&M,
Environmental Site Assessments (Phase I\/II).

Preparation of drilling logs, cross-sections, and technical reports
Complete technical assignments related to data analysis and reporting of field data
Water rights due diligence assessments
Travel and occasional evening or weekend work may be required for some projects in Pacific NW area
Qualified candidates will have a B.S. or M.S. in geology, hydrogeology, environmental science, environmental engineering, or related scientific field. Course work in geology, groundwater hydrology\/hydrogeology, hazardous waste investigation and management, and numerical modeling of groundwater flow and fate and transport is preferred. Knowledge and experience with State and Federal environmental regulations in the Pacific Northwest is preferred. 40 hour Health and Safety training preferred, but not necessary. Strong technical and problem solving skills, attention to detail, and excellent written and verbal communication skills are required.
