Mid-level hydrogeologist needed to work as part of a team in environmental remediation projects including soil, sediment, groundwater, and surface water remediation. Projects may cover field activities necessary for site characterization, remediation operation, and site parameter monitoring. Communication with regulatory agents, tenants, clients, subcontractors, and co-workers are essential. Integrated Science & Technology, Inc. ( is an environmental consulting firm specializing in soil and groundwater remediation with an emphasis on international projects. Offices are located in Georgia, Florida, Pennsylvania, and Utah.


  • Prepare geology sections of proposals, project work plans, as well as quality control/assurance plans.

  • Implement geology portions of workplans including conduct of field work (e.g., soil, sediment, groundwater, and surface water sampling, aquifer testing, drilling oversight and soil logging, soil boring and monitoring well installation, well development, purging and sampling).

  • Coordinate and direct drilling, surveying, and laboratory services.

  • Provide construction oversight on environmental remediation projects, and associated operations and maintenance of remediation systems.

  • Preparation of site work plans, spreadsheets, figures, and technical reports; and provide data interpretation.

  • Focus on team project delivery, taking direction from Project Managers as well as serving as a Project Manager. • Work within quality/budget/schedule expectations and scope-specific assignments.

  • Assist in ensuring compliance with all federal, state and local regulations.

  • Communicate with subcontractors, regulatory agents, tenants, and clients during field activities.

  • Bachelor’s Degree in geology, hydrogeology, or related discipline; Master’s Degree preferred.

  • Professional Geologist certification desired. Experience Level: 5 to 10 years of site investigation/remediation project experience, including field work.

  • Willingness/interest in field assignments.

  • Ability to multi-task, handling multiple project assignments, maintain flexibility, while meeting strict deadlines.

  • Proficiency in groundwater flow and contaminant transport modeling required.

  • 40-hour OSHA HAZWOPER certification and applicable refreshers; Strong commitment to safety.

  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

  • Ability to work with and mentor technician and junior staff.

  • Effective written/verbal communication skills.

  • Effective organizational and analytical skills.

  • Willingness to travel for projects outside of U.S.
